Neck Pain
Chiropractic care can be highly effective for helping with neck pain, especially when it's related to joint dysfunction, muscle tension, poor posture, or nerve irritation. Neck pain itself can also be a symptom of an underlying condition such as joint degeneration, spinal disc protrusions, arthritis, neuropathies, frozen shoulder, and carpal tunnel.
Here are some ways we can help:
-
Spinal Adjustments: Chiropractors use gentle, targeted movements to restore proper motion to the joints in the cervical spine (neck), reducing stiffness, and improving alignment. This can relieve irritation of nerves and decrease pain.
-
Muscle Relief: Along with adjustments, chiropractors often use soft tissue techniques like myofascial release or instrument assisted soft tissue manipulation (IASTM) to reduce muscle tension and trigger points that contribute to neck discomfort.
-
Postural Correction: Neck pain is often linked to poor posture (like "text neck"). Chiropractors assess posture and help retrain body mechanics to reduce strain on the neck over time.
-
Improved Range of Motion: By restoring normal joint function and addressing muscle imbalances, chiropractic care can help improve flexibility and reduce movement restrictions.
-
Personalized Rehab: Chiropractors may prescribe therapeutic exercises to strengthen supporting muscles, enhance stability, and prevent future flare-ups.
In most cases, chiropractic care offers a non-invasive, drug-free option to manage both acute and chronic neck pain, often improving comfort and function with regular treatment.
Low Back Pain
Chiropractic care is an effective non-invasive option for managing low back pain, and it's supported by leading health organizations—including the World Health Organization (WHO). The WHO includes spinal manipulation, such as chiropractic adjustments, in their guidelines as part of the first-line treatment for certain forms of low back pain before considering medications or surgery (WHO, 2023). Before getting started on treatments, we’ll do an exam to determine what issues may be contributing to your back pain. There are different types of pain, all depending on the tissues involved, so we want to make sure your treatment plan matches what’s going on.

Here’s some of the ways we can help:
-
Spinal Adjustments: We use precise, controlled movements to improve joint function in the spine. This helps reduce pain, ease muscle tension, and restore normal movement patterns.
-
Nerve Irritation Relief: Restricted spinal joints can irritate nearby tissues, including nerves. Adjustments can help reduce this irritation and improve range of motion, which can relieve symptoms like pain, numbness, or stiffness in the lower back and legs.
-
Muscle Balance and Mobility: Chiropractors often combine spinal adjustments with soft tissue techniques and targeted exercises to release tight muscles and strengthen weak ones—restoring balance and improving function.
-
Personalized Care: Every spine is different. Chiropractors assess posture, movement, and lifestyle factors to tailor treatment for the root cause of each patient’s back pain.
-
Avoiding Unnecessary Interventions: Chiropractic care provides a drug-free, hands-on approach that often helps patients avoid or delay the need for more aggressive treatments such as opioids, injections, or surgery.
Whether you're dealing with a recent strain or chronic discomfort, chiropractic care can be a safe and effective part of a comprehensive plan to relieve low back pain and improve daily function. Give us a call, we’d love to talk about what treatments might be right for you!

Headaches
Headaches affect nearly 90% of Americans, ranging from mild discomfort to debilitating migraine-like pain. Research supports chiropractic care—particularly spinal manipulation—as a safe and effective option for tension-type and neck-related headaches.

A 2014 study published in the Journal of Manipulative and Physiological Therapeutics (JMPT) found that chiropractic techniques improve outcomes for both acute and chronic neck pain, especially when combined with other therapies.¹ Another JMPT study in 2011 found that spinal adjustments can also help reduce symptoms of migraines and cervicogenic headaches.²
Most headaches are triggered by factors like stress, poor posture, certain foods, or lack of sleep. Muscle tension or joint dysfunction in the neck and upper back—often from long hours of sitting—can play a major role in recurring headaches.
Chiropractic care offers a drug-free, whole-body approach to headache relief—particularly for tension and cervicogenic headaches (those stemming from dysfunction in the neck). Here's how it can help:
-
Spinal Adjustments: Gentle, precise chiropractic adjustments improve motion and alignment in the cervical spine (neck). This relieves pressure on nerves and reduces muscle tension. During active headaches, our doctors may use modified techniques or therapies like instrument assisted soft tissue manipulation (IASTM) to safely support healing.
-
Muscle Tension Relief: Techniques such as soft tissue therapy, trigger point release, and myofascial release target tight muscles in the neck, shoulders, and upper back—areas commonly linked to headache pain.
-
Posture Correction: Poor posture, especially from prolonged screen use, can strain the neck and lead to forward head posture. Chiropractors assess and correct posture to relieve mechanical stress contributing to headaches.
-
Lifestyle & Ergonomic Guidance: We help you identify and address triggers related to posture, movement, sleep habits, or your work station—offering practical strategies to reduce flare-ups.
-
Improved Frequency & Intensity: Chiropractic care may help decrease both how often headaches occur and how severe they are—especially when combined with stretching, strengthening, and stress-reduction strategies.

In short, chiropractic care targets both the root causes and symptoms of headaches. During your exam, we’ll also rule out more serious causes to ensure you receive the right care.

Sciatica
Many patients come to us describing “sciatica”—pain that starts in the lower back and travels down the back of the leg. This type of discomfort is something we treat frequently. While “sciatica” isn’t a diagnosis on its own (it simply refers to a symptom pattern), there are several common conditions that can cause this kind of pain—many of which respond well to chiropractic care.
Here are some of the more common causes:
-
Sacroiliac joint irritation
-
Herniated spinal discs
-
Spinal stenosis
-
Piriformis syndrome
-
Other related conditions
The right treatment depends on the underlying cause. That’s why we always begin with a thorough exam—to identify the specific structures involved. What helps one type of sciatic pain may worsen another, so we take care to personalize your treatment for the best possible results.
Auto Accidents
Even minor collisions can cause the body to shift suddenly, leading to conditions like whiplash, back pain, muscle spasm, nerve injury, headaches, joint stiffness, or other soft tissue injuries. We do a comprehensive physical exam to identify the source of pain resulting from an accident contributing to pain and inflammation. Proper care after an accident can play a vital role in recovering from auto accident injuries as quickly as possible. Early treatment after an accident may also prevent minor issues from developing into chronic conditions.

Important Note: If you have just been in an accident and are in pain it’s very important you are properly checked for possible serious injuries. A visit to the Emergency Room as soon as possible is best to make sure all necessary tests and imaging are done. Once you’ve been assessed for serious injury you can book an appointment with us!
Pregnancy & Pediatric
Pregnancy is an incredible process that comes hand in hand with a variety of changes for the mother throughout each phase of the journey. During pregnancy, a woman’s body goes through many physical changes—like a shifting center of gravity, and hormonal changes that loosen ligaments. These changes can lead to back pain, pelvic discomfort, or joint stress.
Prenatal care uses gentle, noninvasive techniques to help maintain joint motion and alignment in the spine and pelvis. This can relieve pressure on nerves, ease muscle tension, and support better posture and movement. Many pregnant patients find that chiropractic care helps reduce back and hip pain, improve mobility, and even support a more comfortable labor and delivery by keeping the pelvis balanced. One study in 2016 suggested adjustments during pregnancy may help relax the pelvic floor, a valuable factor for a smooth delivery process.

We take care to tailor what we do to your needs, ensuring our techniques and equipment provide comfort and safety throughout pregnancy.

Chiropractic care can be very helpful for children! Kids tend to be highly active and often experience tumbles and bumps during play, sports, and everyday activities. These minor injuries can sometimes lead to soreness, stiffness, or discomfort in areas like the neck and back. We also screen for conditions such as scoliosis where early diagnosis and management is key. Chiropractic treatments are tailored to each person’s needs, and for children, the techniques used are especially soft and gentle.
